Historian Halik Kochanski has won the Wolfson History Prize for her book 'Resistance', which covers Jewish and other resistance movements against the Nazis in Europe.
Kochanski's book is the first English-language history of pan-European resistance to the Nazis, delving into lesser-known acts of defiance.
The author hopes her win will encourage more people to learn about resistance movements, and credits the London Library as her most inspiring place for research.
