Several polling entities, such as Siena College or AARP New York and Gotham Polling& Analytics, have Assemblymember Zohran Mamdani leading the mayoral field. AARP's most recent numbers show Mamdani with about 41.8% voter support, followed by former Governor Andrew Cuomo with 23.4%, Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa at 16.5%, and incumbent Mayor Eric Adams trailing behind with 8.8%. The poll also reveals important shifts in candidate support across demographic groups.
Cuomo's endorsements page suggests Jewish support, but several groups clarify they only endorsed for the primary election and have not decided on November's race.
The path to governor seems well-paved for Vice President Harris if she decides to run. Although she lacks majority support at the moment, people know her better than the other candidates and generally view her favorably.
Buttigieg received the most support out of any potential candidate and garnered 16 per cent of the vote, even beating out Harris, who secured 13 per cent.
Governor Healey will be re-elected because she is focused on the issues that matter most to voters in Massachusetts, lowering the cost of living, building more housing, improving transportation and education, and standing up to Donald Trump.
