A Manchester-based market-research company, Omnisis, shows the Rejoin EU Party could secure joint fifth place in the Gorton & Denton by-election, level-pegging with the Liberal Democrats and narrowly behind the Conservatives. The poll covers the by-election scheduled for next Thursday. Rejoin EU candidate Joseph O'Meachair reports positive, friendly doorstep responses and says voters recognise Brexit's devastating effects on the economy and politics and the need to reverse it.
