The gunman who killed at least four worshippers, wounded eight and was shot to death by police Sunday at a Mormon church in Grand Blanc Township, Michigan, had a sign emblazoned with the last name of Donald Trump outside his house, public records show. The president responded to the church shooting on Sunday by saying there is still a lot to learn about the deceased suspect, identified as 40-year-old Thomas Jacob Sanford.
Schenectady, NY - A grim discovery was made Sunday afternoon when a body was found floating in the Mohawk River near Rivers Casino, drawing a large law enforcement response. The Schenectady Police Department said a 911 call came in around 1:40 p.m. reporting what appeared to be a body in the water. Officers, joined by the New York State Police, Scotia Fire Department and the Schenectady County Sheriff's Office Marine Patrol, worked together to recover the remains of a deceased male.
According to police sources, the attack took place on Orchard Street between Hester and Grand Streets at 1 a.m. on Sept. 14. Officers from the 7th Precinct responded to reports of an assault. Upon arriving at the scene, they found a 30-year-old man with a stab wound to the neck. Police described the injury as a puncture wound. EMS rushed the victim to Bellevue Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
