Los Gatos opened a new Whole Foods Market, expanding its offerings and supporting local charities with donations.
They had met on the Jewish dating app J-Swipe in 2017, citing a lack of third spaces to meet people. After Dani misinterpreted a typo Ziv sent her, the two went on a date. But after visiting a one or two times, the couple bought a house in town.
A 2,073-square-foot house built in 1964 has changed hands. The spacious property in the 100 block of Cambrian View Way in Los Gatos was sold on Dec. 19, 2025 for $2,950,000 which represents a price per square foot of $1,423. This two-story house offers a roomy layout with five bedrooms and three bathrooms. Inside, there is a fireplace. The property is equipped with a heating system. Additionally, the home features two parking spots, granting ample parking space for two vehicles.
The cafe side of the shop was smashed by a speeding car on Thanksgiving night. The driver was identified as Karl Horst Klemmer, a 90-year-old resident of Los Gatos. The collision ended in a misdemeanor arrest. Klemmer was transported to the hospital in serious condition before dying on Dec. 7 from complications of multiple injuries to include pelvic fracture, according to the Santa Clara County Coroner's Office.

The Los Gatos Art & Wine Festival is set for Sept. 20-21 in downtown Los Gatos, bringing hundreds of artists, live musicians, vineyard operators and brewers to town. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. both days on the Civic Center lawn at 110 E. Main St. Over 200 artists are expected to set up booths, and there will be live music on both days. Fine wine, craft beer and gourmet food trucks will also be set up for the event.

While this year's Taste of Los Gatos will feature Rush cover band R50 and Livewire headlining the main stage, with Chain of Fools, Identity Problem, Phill & Rob and Sam Marshall scattered throughout the one-day street party, make no mistake, the essence of the fest will be the nibbles and libations. "It's really telling the story of Los Gatos as a culinary destination," Chamber Executive Director Jennifer Lin said about the event, taking place on Sept. 6. "I really do feel like we're experiencing a culinary renaissance here."
