Kayla Renee Corrigan, our beloved daughter, died tragically on December 24, 2025, in a house fire that shook the town of Needham, Massachusetts. She was 21 years old. In the midst of this enormous loss, the force of her powerful personality gives us strength in moments of despair. Kayla was born on April 30, 2004, in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, to Christa and Jim Corrigan, and moved with her family to Needham in 2007.

Firefighters in Stanley arrived Sunday night at a two-story home that was mostly engulfed in fire, with flames showing through the attic, the Gaston County Office of Emergency Management and Fire Services said in a news release.
