
"SAN BRUNO, Calif. (KGO) -- San Bruno police say that human remains were found while investigating the aftermath of a house fire that followed a deadly shooting on Friday. The video in the player above is from a previous report. Police say the incident started as a shooting investigation at around 3 p.m., on Keefe Court near Rosewood Drive. The shooting victim, a 31-year-old man, was taken to the hospital but later died from his wounds."
"On Saturday, police confirmed that human remains were discovered inside the home. The San Mateo County Coroner's Office will be working to identify the remains and determine the cause of death. Some residents had to be evacuated during the fire, but they were back in their homes Friday night. "San Bruno is a safe community. This is a rare type of occurrence here, and I understand from the community it can be particularly alarming," said San Bruno Police Dept. Chief Matt Lethin."
