(Supplied by Peel Regional Police) Peel police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing woman from Brampton, Ont. Donna, who is 70-years-old, was last seen on Monday at approximately 4:30 p.m. in the area of Queen Street and Chinguacousy Road, Peel Regional Police said in a news release Tuesday.

"Some people 60+ have reported emptying their bank accounts and even clearing out their 401ks," the FTC's Division of Consumer Response and Operations wrote. "While younger people report losing money to these imposters too, reports of losses in the tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars are much more likely to be filed by older adults, and those numbers have soared."

"I built my home with my husband, Bruce, in 1956. Now that I’m 92 years old, I still live independently. I hope I croak it here."
