A family in Markle, Indiana, is grieving the tragic death of a 7-day-old infant who died after being attacked by the family dog. Huntington Central Dispatch received a 911 call on Sept. 4 reporting that a child had been bitten in his home by a dog, the Huntington County Sheriff's Office said in a press release. Law enforcement and EMS rushed to the scene where they found the newborn, whose name was Jason A. Weaver, in critical condition and in need of life-saving treatment.

Two people have been injured in an attack by an XL bully-type dog in Nottinghamshire. A man sustained significant but not life-threatening injuries, and the woman received an injury to her arm.

The tragic death of Nicole Morey, who was mauled to death by her own dogs, highlighted the emotional impact of this case during Bradley Morey's guilty plea.

On Wednesday, the medical examiner determined that the infant had died before she was mauled by the dog.

On April 11, police were dispatched to a Revere Drive residence regarding a disturbance call. An arriving officer talked to the caller, who said while trying to work from home and her husband was yelling and screaming. The incident was only verbal so both parties were advised to stay separate. No charges were filed.
