Orlando Magic forward/center Moritz Wagner is listed as available to make his season debut Sunday against the New Orleans Pelicans, the team announced. Wagner was a Sixth Man of the Year candidate last season before tearing his ACL in December. He was averaging a career-high 12.9 points per game while shooting 56.2% from the field before the injury. The Magic signed Wagner to a one-year, $5 million deal this past summer to keep him in Orlando.

Having recovered from an ACL injury, Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus has made three appearances off the bench, and manager Mikel Arteta says the Brazilian is now in contention for the starting lineup.

Melton suffered a partially torn ACL early last season after a misstep against the Dallas Mavericks on Dec. 11. He said he knew something was wrong at halftime of the game, but he played through it. After tests revealed the partial tear, Melton spent several weeks consulting with doctors before ultimately deciding on season-ending surgery. He had the procedure on Dec. 4, 2024. His season debut on Thursday night will be exactly one year after the surgery.

Diggs missed last week's game against the Washington Commanders due to suffering a concussion at his home. The former second-round pick hasn't has the best luck staying on the field over the last couple of seasons. He missed 15 games in 2023 after tearing his ACL, and another six last season because of an issue in the same knee that required surgery.

The song was appropriate because one of Detroit's top defenders -- starting defensive tackle Alim McNeill -- had returned to the practice field for the first time since tearing the ACL in his right knee in December. "(The song) was very good. I didn't expect it to happen but that was a good little touch. I liked that," McNeill said.

Cunha went straight down the tunnel after pulling up off the ball with a hamstring issue, while Mount was taken off at half-time with little explanation as to why.
