'Leave no crumbs': Stefon Diggs rebounded from injury and found a fit with Patriots
"Everyone looks so comfortable,"
"I'm just super excited and want to keep building,"
"turn the corner"
"historically fast"
Stefon Diggs signed a three-year, $69 million contract with the New England Patriots after sustaining a torn right ACL last October. He rehabbed in Florida and reached the field by training camp, with his personal trainer describing the recovery as historically fast. Diggs played a key role in a 42-13 win over the Carolina Panthers, recording his first 100-receiving-yard game in 22 contests and calling the performance a turn the corner day. Diggs was present and engaged in team activities despite earlier media attention stemming from a viral boat video. He is 31 and viewed as an emerging ideal fit under coach Mike Vrabel and offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.
