Just days after Saturday Night Live dropped a satirical skit about an "Uber Eats wrapped," Uber brought the feature to life with a year-end recap. Around this time each year, platforms from Spotify to YouTube start rolling out personalized recaps, breaking down how users spent their time over the past 12 months. The next logical step? A full accounting of every Uber trip taken and every guilt-ridden Uber Eats order placed this year.

On Monday, the company launched a new year-in-review feature called "YOUBER," which compiles users' activity across both Uber and Uber Eats.

Platforms from Amazon to YouTube-and, of course, the headline-dominating Spotify Wrapped -have spent much of December rolling out year-end recaps that show users how they engaged with the platforms' services throughout 2025. Today, one of the last anticipated recaps of the year makes its debut: Snapchat Recap 2025. Here's what you need to know. Sony's 2025 PlayStation Wrap-Up is now available. The recap, which is similar to those from music streaming services, sums up gaming habits from throughout the year. It shows players how many hours they used their PS4 or PS5, what games they played the most, preferred genres, trophy counts and more. These digital cards are shareable on social media, which is kind of the whole point.

Amazon Music has a new Spotify Wrapped knockoff this year called " 2025 Delivered," which offers a summary of users' listening stats, such as top artists, songs, and even podcasts. Notably, the platform also takes advantage of Amazon's virtual assistant, Alexa, by giving users a special message from their favorite artist. The feature can be found on the app by tapping on the Library tab.

Wikipedia also says that editors made over 66 million changes across the site this year.

Google Photos users can now access their year-end Recap, the photo-hosting site's own version of something akin to Spotify Wrapped. Like other annual reviews, the Google Photos Recap lets you look back on your past year in photos, offering a combination of memorable highlights enhanced with graphics and other effects, plus photo stats and more. U.S. users will also gain access to a new feature powered by Google's AI, Gemini, which will showcase your hobbies and other top highlights, the company says.

December invites us to pause and look back at the moments that defined architecture and cities in 2025. Reflection is not only an act of memory, but of foresight - a way to understand where we've been in order to imagine where we might go next. From shifting cultural narratives to material and technological breakthroughs, this past year underscored the importance of experimentation and adaptation across the built environment.
