"Honestly, I don't feel like rehashing the bad stuff. If you read this blog on the regular, yall already know what I went through, and as I'm ending the year on a high note, I'm going to focus on that. I love my new job, I'm relatively healthy (if a bit more fluffy than I was last year), and I've got a lot to look forward to!"
"If you ever want to see how the blog is doing, stat wise, you can head over to my stats page and check it out yourself. This post will be number 146 for the year, slightly beating my count for last year. Of course, quality means more than quantity, but I try to keep a pace of a post a week at minimum and I had no problem with that in 2025."
"I primarily use Netlify Analytics to check my traffic, check what content is popular, and so forth, but Netlify Analytics stops at 30 days of history. (As an aside, if anyone wants to donate to cover Plausible or Fathom Analytics, just reach out.) I also use goatcounter.com and according to it, my top ten page views for the past year only had one article from 2025 in the top ten - Using AI in the Browser for Typo Rewriting."
Ended the year on a high note with a new job, steady health, and optimism despite a difficult year. Maintained a pace of roughly one output per week and produced 146 outputs, slightly more than the previous year. Uses Netlify Analytics for traffic but is limited to 30-day history and also uses goatcounter.com for longer metrics. Top overall content focused on Leaflet custom markers, while the only 2025 entry in the top ten was 'Using AI in the Browser for Typo Rewriting.' Experienced unemployment for most of the year, delivered seven presentations (three in person), and plans to submit more for 2026.
