Six people were taken to hospital after two buses collided in South London, with the impact forcing one into the front of a theatre. The bus at the front appears to have then been pushed into the entrance of Southwark Playhouse in Borough upon impact. Police said none of the injuries was deemed to be life-changing or life-threatening. "We treated a number of patients at the scene and took six of them to hospital," a spokesperson for the ambulance service said.
A man in his 30s has died after he was hit by a police car on an emergency call in south London. The pedestrian was struck by a marked vehicle at just after 12.30am on Wednesday. London Ambulance Service paramedics treated him, but he died at the scene. His next-of-kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers, the force said.
