A pair of knife-wielding robbers in London were tackled to the ground and arrested by the Metropolitan Police in just eight minutes following a chase. Footage released by the force on Thursday (20 November) shows officers running after the two suspects, one on foot and one on an e-bike, after they received reports from distressed victims who had been robbed at knife-point.
Around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Essex police received a report from a family member of an Essex resident who said they had been told both over the internet and by phone to pay $15,000 to fix a virus on their computer. The resident was prepared to pay the sum in cash, but the family member stepped in before the scammer was paid, police said. Essex police arrived at the resident's home to intercept the alleged courier there to collect the cash.

Police responded to reports of a shooting at Keele Street and Donald Avenue just before noon on Wednesday, said Toronto Police on social media. York Memorial Collegiate Institute, located at the same intersection, is currently under lockdown. Nearby schools Charles E Webster Public School, Silverthorn Community School and Keelesdale Junior Public School are on hold and secure for the time being, said the Toronto District School Board on social media.
