Two 16-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of stealing tens of thousands of dollars of highly sought-after Labubu dolls from a warehouse they worked at.
The boys returned to the warehouse at least a couple of times from Aug. 1 to Aug. 3 after business hours to get the dolls, totaling an estimated $40,000.
Detectives served a search warrant at an Upland home connected to one of the boys, where about $30,000 in Labubu dolls were found.
Both suspects were booked on suspicion of burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary, though the fate of the remaining $10,000 in dolls remains unclear.
