A significant incident occurred in Enfield where a man in his 40s was slashed with a bladed weapon. Police officers on patrol discovered him at approximately 3pm on July 12. He sustained serious wounds to his arm but was given immediate first aid before being transported to the hospital. Medical assessment revealed his injuries were not life-changing. A 21-year-old suspect was arrested near the scene on charges of attempted murder and is in police custody for further proceedings.
Officers patrolling Enfield Retail Park discovered the injured man at around 3pm on July 12. He had suffered significant slash wounds to his arm from a bladed weapon.
He was given emergency first aid before being taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service paramedics. His injuries have since been confirmed as non-life changing.
A 21-year-old man was arrested nearby on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in police custody at this time.
