Ontario hasn't provided a public update on when a major Mississauga transit line will be completed in more than five years, according to internal documents, as work continues on the light-rail project originally set to open last fall. Premier Doug Ford's government first awarded a contract to build the Hurontario LRT in October 2020 and pegged the completion date to the fall of 2024. Partway through 2025, the line has yet to open.
