Cannabis worth around €1.25 million was seized in joint operations between Gardai and Revenue on Friday. The drugs were found in three searches in Dublin and Limerick and two men have been arrested in connection with the hauls.

A man has been rushed to hospital after suffering a stab wound in Limerick this morning. The man sustained at least one stab wound to the side of his abdomen. He was found injured in the Carew Park area of the city around 11am this morning, and then rushed by ambulance to University Hospital Limerick.
