Bad Bunny just made history at the Grammys and he's about to do it again with his upcoming Super Bowl halftime performance. But as you might have guessed, MAGA is not thrilled about the Album of the Year winner taking the stage to sing in Spanish, call out ICE raids, and fight this authoritarian regime. So they've done the obvious thing and staged their own, super patriotic festival, courtesy of Turning Point USA and aging musician Kid Rock.

The official Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday will feature Bad Bunny, the Grammy winner for album of the year, at the height of his powers and influence. Those upset by his onstage comments about the dignity of Latinos and immigrants, however, can turn to a competing bill featuring Kid Rock and Gabby Barrett. Rock, the perennial MAGA raconteur and country-rock singer, will perform for the far-right activist group Turning Point USA's counterprogramming event streaming across the conservative mediasphere.

During the Super Bowl, Sinclair's digital stations Charge! and National News Desk will stream Kid Rock on Turning Point USA's "All American Halftime Show," an unusual move that will see the broadcast group competing against its own affiliates for viewers. According to DC anchor Jim Lokay, Sinclair owns and operates over 20 NBC stations around the country. But while NBC and Peacock are airing the (also All-American) Super Bowl Halftime Show featuring Puerto Rican Bad Bunny and Californians Green Day,
