BROOKLYN, NY - A 65-year-old man was attacked and robbed Sunday night in Greenpoint after a suspect shoved him to the ground and stole his bag before fleeing the scene. The assault occurred around 10:08 p.m. in front of 1055 Manhattan Avenue. Police said an unidentified man approached the victim, forced him to the ground, and snatched his crossbody bag, which contained U.S. currency and bank cards.

That spark led her to open Last Place on Earth in Greenpoint in March 2020 - just one day before COVID-19 lockdowns began. "So far, it's been incredible. Being able to pull back the curtain and show everyone our space has been exciting for me because it's been a process," he said. "We built this from scratch - we had to install this big bar, our arches, stone and marble. It took time, but to be able to show everyone was like a celebration of what we've accomplished in the past year. Now it's time to get to work."
