The smile on the face of Boston Red Sox manager Alex Cora all but confirmed that his club will get a big piece back Friday when they begin their first series of the season against the New York Yankees.Cora told reporters prior to Thursday's series finale with the Cleveland Guardians at Progressive Field that there is a "good chance" Adam Duvall will return against the Yankees, per MassLive's Christopher Smith.

It's been a difficult transition into an everyday shortstop for the Boston Red Sox this season for Kiké Hernández, committing a league-leading 13 errors.But after playing there exclusively over the last month-plus, the Red Sox decided to move Hernández to the outfield for Monday's series finale against the Tampa Bay Rays and he showed he certainly hasn't lost his defensive touch in center.

PHILADELPHIA - Center fielder Jake Marisnick, an 11-year MLB veteran, rewarded the Detroit Tigers on the first play in his first game.A fly ball from Marcus Semien, crushed 417 feet, was caught by Marisnick at the back of the warning track in the deepest part of left-center field at Comerica Park.He bounced off the wall after making the catch.

In just his third season with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Mike Piazza hit the longest home run at Joe Robbie Stadium with a majestic grand slam to center field that traveled 477 feet.The grand slam was Piazza's first of his career and it gave the Dodgers a 4-2 lead over the then-Florida Marlins in the second inning.
