""I was not satisfied last year," Kim said. "I found out some of the things that I needed to work on. I just want"
Hyeseong Kim is confident he can play center field this season after extensive offseason and spring training work with coaches and increased reps. The 27-year-old signed with the Dodgers before 2025 and is a versatile defender who can shift between infield and outfield roles. Kim hit .403 with a 1.020 OPS in 28 Triple-A games but produced a .280/.314/.385 slash line, a .699 OPS and a 95 OPS+ across 71 big-league games and 170 plate appearances. Defensively, he committed no errors in center field but posted -2 Outs Above Average. Dodgers leadership views him as a hard worker likely to receive more opportunities.
