Ukrainian and Western officials have indicated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy would attend the G7 summit in Japan in person on Sunday.However, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine wrote on Twitter he would address the meeting online.The post on social media came despite remarks made by Oleksiy Danilov, the secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defence Council, who told state television that "important" decisions would be made at the G7 and it was "therefore the presence of our president that is absolutely essential in order to defend our interests."
