Herzog & de Meuron, together with Marge Arkitekter, propose Under samma tak (Under the Same Roof) for Göteborg's new arena district in Sweden, a future-oriented, experience-driven landmark designed to evolve with the city. The project is designed to accommodate civic life and large-scale events, integrating urban rhythm, collective spaces, and sustainable design strategies through adaptive transformation, circular construction, and ambitious climate goals.

Located in the core area of Jiuxianqiao, Chaoyang District, Beijing, it is the only artificial intelligence computing power park within the central urban area of Beijing. The architectural concept overturns the traditional, enclosed data and information center systems, enabling society, people, and activities to coexist with the building, its contents, and the invisible world of intelligent information. Beyond the intelligent computing rooms, energy-related support, and functional hardware requirements, the building manifests as a physical grid system under sunlight.

In the past, sports and cultural facilities in China were often designed with iconic, exaggerated forms. However, recent trends have shifted towards focusing on the experience of the site and its connection to the surrounding urban environment. The Shekou Cultural and Sports Park proposal responds to this human-centered era, emphasizing public engagement, accessibility, and a blend of indoor and outdoor spaces, while maintaining a strong sense of place.
