OAKLAND - Police here have identified the man who was stabbed to death inside his apartment on the 1500 block of Jackson Street. Jason Schweitzer, 55, of Oakland, was found stabbed to death inside an apartment where police had received a report of a deceased resident, authorities said. No arrests have been announced and police haven't released the suspected motive. Schweitzer's body was discovered around 7 p.m. on Jan. 16.
