Jason Schweitzer, 55, of Oakland, was found stabbed to death inside an apartment where police had received a report of a deceased resident, authorities said. No arrests have been announced and police haven't released the suspected motive. Schweitzer's body was discovered around 7 p.m. on Jan. 16."
"He was the second man killed in Oakland that day; about 12 hours earlier, another person was shot and killed on the 300 block of Grand Avenue, authorities said. Anyone with information about either homicide may call investigators at 510-238-3821 or 510-238-7950."
