Undocumented immigrants are setting up makeshift stands at a subway station in Brooklyn to sell candy and snacks in order to cover their living expenses.
They face harassment from riders and the risk of being busted by police for vending without a license.
Vending has helped some immigrants, like Sofia Paucar, make progress in their journey to live in the United States. [ more ]
