It's Tokyo Game Show week, and once again, Xbox has returned for a new livestream in which it'll show off upcoming games. Like last year, the showcase will be focused on various first-party games and titles from Xbox partners in Japan, across Asia, and around the world, with the event kicking off at 3 AM PT / 6 AM ET on September 25.
The ROG Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X launch in less than a month, but as with many new tech products this year, there's some uncertainty on the price of the first Xbox-branded handhelds. Official price points have yet to be confirmed by Microsoft or Asus. As such, it's unclear when preorders will be available ahead of the ROG Xbox Ally's October 16 launch. Clarity on these questions could come very soon, though.
With Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater selling over a million copies in less than a month, it seems Konami is already interested in going back to the sneaky well. The developer is asking eager fans what they want next from the long-dormant series, and I think there's one obvious answer. In a survey being conducted by Konami ahead of its Metal Gear-themed Tokyo Game Show presentation next month, the developer is asking prospective viewers about their past experiences with the series, what they would like to know more about in the near future (with a passing mention of Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2), and most crucially, which Metal Gear game they want to see remade next.
Podcaster and leaker NateTheHate spilled the beans on X early on Tuesday. It began the night before when people started asking him for information about when Sony's next showcase would be. "Sony has a presentation soon," he replied cryptically. Then earlier today he elaborated, "Next week." NateTheHate's had a good track record ever since he accurately reported on the Switch 2 reveal earlier this year, and a PlayStation event pegged to Tokyo Game show would make sense.
