As rapid combos transition into powerful Izuna Drops, Guillotine Throws, and charged-up Ultimate Techniques, I deflect and counter incoming attacks, lop off numerous limbs, and spill gallons of blood in the most exhilarating and stylish way imaginable.
But Ninja Gaiden 4 is, at a glance, a return to the glory days of action games - a bone-crunching and gore spewing adrenaline fest that simply wants you to feel like an unstoppable god. And despite the debacle that was Ninja Gaiden 3, this entry in the franchise manages to mostly bring Ninja Gaiden back to the hallowed heights of the first two games.
It's been 13 years since Ryu Hayabusa's last solo adventure in Ninja Gaiden 3, but the legend returns this week in Ninja Gaiden 4 alongside a new hero, Yakumo. To promote the game with a stunt worthy of Ryu himself, Team Ninja community manager Emmanuel "Master" Rodriguez and musician Swae Lee took a ride over Miami in a helicopter while Rodriguez played Ninja Gaiden 4 on a large screen held aloft by another helicopter.
It's Tokyo Game Show week, and once again, Xbox has returned for a new livestream in which it'll show off upcoming games. Like last year, the showcase will be focused on various first-party games and titles from Xbox partners in Japan, across Asia, and around the world, with the event kicking off at 3 AM PT / 6 AM ET on September 25.
The Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2025 showcase will be livestreamed on September 25 at 7pm JST (3am PT / 6am ET / 11am UK / 3.30pm IST) across Tokyo Game Show's official YouTube channel, along with select Xbox social channels. The show will bring announcements on Xbox games in development at Microsoft's creative teams and at other third-party studios, with a focus on Japan-inspired content and games developed in Asia.
