Law enforcement sources said the stabbing occurred just after 8 p.m. on Nov. 14 in front of 56 West 66th St., the First Battery Armory.
Durham Regional Police are investigating after a dog was found dead in a suitcase in Oshawa Friday evening. Officers responded to an animal abuse call around Gibb Street and Grenfall Street around 9:30 p.m. Friday, Durham police said in a news release. Police said a passerby made the call after finding a small dog dead inside a suitcase. Investigators are looking to speak with a suspicious man seen in the area around 3 p.m. carrying a suitcase.
A stranger told a 12-year-old girl "I'm going to violate you," and raped her in a heinous attack in the stairwell of a Brooklyn public housing building Thursday, cops and sources said. The predator approached the preteen around 5:45 p.m. in the stairwell of the Cooper Houses building on Morgan Avenue near Jackson Street in Williamsburg, according to authorities and sources.
San Diego police were looking for a gunman in Chollas View early Tuesday afternoon after he shot a teen in the leg and fled on a scooter. The shooting, which was reported around 12:30 p.m., occurred on 47th Street near Hilltop Drive, said police Lt. Travis Easter. The victim was an 18-year-old man who was transported to a hospital for treatment. No suspect was in custody, and police didn't say what led up to the shooting.
