The suspect, unknown to the victim, came from behind and grabbed the unsuspecting woman, placing a black firearm to her head as he demanded her belongings. Police said he snagged two purses from the victim. Among the personal items inside the purses were a cellphone, wallet, documents, credit cards, jewelry, and $120 in cash.

Police said the shooting happened just after 9 p.m. on Oct. 8 in front of 360 West 127th St., off St. Nicholas Terrace, in Manhattanville. Officers from the 26th Precinct responded to the scene and found the victim, a 26-year-old man, with a single gunshot wound to his back.
Police in the Bronx are looking for a group of masked suspects behind a shooting on Sunday night that left two people wounded. According to police sources, the gunfire erupted at around 8:23 p.m. on Sept. 14 outside of 356 East 152 St. in the South Bronx. Law enforcement sources said the two victims, a 43-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man, were standing outside the apartment building when three suspects approached.
