Officers from the 28th Precinct and NYPD PSA 5 responded to the location after receiving reports of a person shot there. Upon arriving at the scene, authorities said, the cops came upon the victim, a 48-year-old woman who sustained a gunshot wound to her thigh."
"During a preliminary investigation, police believe that two suspects were involved in the shooting. Sources familiar with the case said it is not believed that the victim was deliberately targeted. EMS rushed the woman to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition. So far, no arrests have been made in the ongoing probe, police said.
