"The couple were arguing in a residence near E. 94th St. and Winthrop St. in Brownsville shortly after 5 a.m. on Oct. 15 when the woman took a pan of scalding hot cooking oil from the stove and poured it on her beau, causing severe burns and skin damage across his chest, arms and legs, police said Friday. EMS rushed the man to Staten Island University Hospital in critical but stable condition."
"After the incident, the woman ran out of the residence, cops said. Police described the hot grease-wielding attacker as a woman with a dark complexion, about 30 years old, with a medium build and long black hair in braids. She was last seen wearing black pants with white lettering down the left side, a black shirt and black sneakers. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All tips will be kept confidential."
