A woman was stabbed in Washington D.C. on Wednesday while National Guard troops dined directly across the street. The victim, whose identity has not been released to the public, was stabbed on the 700 block of H Street Northeast around 3:47 p.m., according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
A U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services officer was struck by a suspect in an off-road vehicle while attempting to detain him in Alviso. The officer fired a shot at the fleeing suspect's vehicle, but it’s unconfirmed if the bullet struck the subject. The injured officer was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and was released on Sunday. The suspect remains unidentified and at large.
