Sheriff Shittu, 30, was shot in the head just before 4:30 a.m. inside Quilox Lounge at 9508 Church Ave in East Flatbush. Emergency Medical Services transported Shittu to One Brooklyn Health–Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where medical staff pronounced him dead. The suspected shooter is described as a bearded man who was last seen wearing jeans and a gray jacket. The shooter fled the lounge and remains at large. Law enforcement agencies are investigating the incident and seeking information on the suspect’s identity and whereabouts. Community members and witnesses are being asked to come forward with any information.
