Life Is Strange: Reunion aims to resonate with fans of the original series, but not all players feel included in that vision.
"They were the only choice," Howard told Game Informer (via GamesRadar). "They had done something similar with [Star Wars] Knights of the Old Republic 2, and we knew them really well. We knew we were going onto Skyrim, the franchise was back, but we knew there was going to be a long break until Fallout 4--how can we keep this going?"
Character creation in The Outer Worlds 2 lets players sculpt their commander's appearance, background, and strengths--while flaws, which shape how others perceive you, are assigned by the game as it observes your playstyle. Want to play a silver-tongued diplomat who can talk their way out of any firefight? Invest in Speech and Charm to unlock persuasive dialogue options that can shift entire faction dynamics.
This idyllic destination is located on a moon called Eden, and while it may sound lovely, it's embroiled in a three-way conflict between the game's primary factions: The authoritarian Protectorate, the ruthlessly capitalist Auntie's Choice, and the scientific church that is the Order of the Ascendant. Following The Outer Worlds 2's prologue chapter, this is where players become truly acclimated with the game's new and improved systems in an open-world setting.
