MarcAurele knew he had to strike while the iron was red-hot, so he got to writing, and in just three short weeks he was bringing the show to life, complete with a number that explored the inherent musicality of that bike scene and another that featured a chorus lauding 'gay hockey players with big butts' as if they were singing a church hymn.
"It has been a bucket-list dream of mine to perform on a New York stage, and I couldn't think of a better way to do that than becoming a part of the 11 to Midnight family," Morris said in a statement.

One night in early September, something seemingly strange happened at New World Stages in Midtown Manhattan: the entire audience at Heathers: The Musical, in a direct rebuke of standard theater decorum, was singing along with the actors onstage. Casting has been revealed for the upcoming site-specific staging of Morgan Lloyd Malcolm's The Wasp. The Olivier Award-winning playwright's psychological thriller will be performed in a private loft in NYC's Financial District, with performances running October 23-November 15. Rory McGregor is at the helm.
Heathers: The Musical has returned Off-Broadway, newly polished, confidently staged, and still delivering a sharp and timely commentary on high school dynamics and social pressures.
