Perelman Performing Arts Center will present Jack Thorne's A Christmas Carol Off-Broadway, with previews beginning November 23 and opening December 4 for a limited run through December 28. Michael Cerveris will star as Ebenezer Scrooge. The company includes George Abud, Maxim Chlumecky, Chris Hoch, Julia Knitel, Ashlyn Maddox, Madalynn Mathews, Nancy Opel, Dan Piering, Izzy Elena Rita, Rashidra Scott, Teddy Trice, and Paul Whitty, with understudies Dario Esteban Alvarez and Celia Mei Rubin. The play premiered at London's Old Vic in 2017, ran on Broadway in 2019, won five Tony Awards in 2020, and will be co-directed by Thomas Caruso in a more immersive staging.
