Writing in The Look, a new photo book released on Tuesday that documents her style throughout her time in the White House, Obama describes how the media and public's fascination with her bare arms was used as a tool to otherize her.

Michelle Obama revealed on Amy Poehler's podcast that her favorite way to unwind is by watching HGTV, calling it her 'version of golf'. She enjoys property shows like 'House Hunters' for their soothing nature and the thrill of exploring homes.

Obama mentioned she has to do pushups on her knees now due to the challenges of aging, pointing out that there's nothing to prove at her age.

"You were perfect. You got your line, and my character, Leslie Knope, is supposed to be overwhelmed by seeing you, and I, Amy Poehler, was also very jazzed. And I went to say my line and I drooled."
