The 22-year-old attacker will join on loan until the end of the season from Sampdoria, who bought him from FC Barcelona in June 2024 for €3 million. He signed a contract with the Italian club running until 2027, while Barcelona retained 50% of his economic rights. The Catalan giants also included a buy-back option for the winger worth €7 million, which has already expired on 30 June 2025. But, with the 50% rights still in their hands, it makes sense for the Blaugrana to see how things go for Estanis back in Spain, as a permanent move in the summer could lead to a windfall for them.
Jonah Kusi-Asare is the kind of striker every club tries to find nowadays. Huge, lanky but deceptively quick, smooth on the ball and possessing the technical skills of a much smaller players, the young Swede drew the attention of many big clubs at AIK Fotboll before Bayern Munich snatched him up for a big fee. Kusi-Asare struggled to impose himself in Bayerns youth teams, occasionally demonstrating his immense potential but too often going unnoticed during matches.
Villa are insisting Elliott is part of their plans, but it is clear things are not going well. He did join with an obligation built in, but in theory, that could possibly see him return. We may not have seen the last of Elliott at Anfield as they also have a buy-back, and Liverpool put that in as they rate him so highly.
Chelsea are set to send Aaron Anselmino out on loan for the season to accelerate his development. While they signed the 20-year-old defender, he was immediately loaned back to Boca Juniors.
