"I definitely won't be playing in the preseason, that's for sure," Fox said. "I don't think I'll be ready for opening night. But we're going to play it by ear. I feel like I can play right now. But I don't have that [medical] expertise. I'm not going to lie to you: I was running 15 miles per hour already [on a treadmill]. I think that's probably faster than most of the guys that are here. So, when I say I think I'm ready, I for real think I'm ready."
ATLANTA -- Darnell Mooney's injury issues continued Sunday, as the Atlanta Falcons ruled out the wide receiver late in the third quarter due to a hamstring issue. Mooney came out of the game against the Washington Commanders due to the injury earlier in the quarter. He had one catch for 15 yards in the first half. Mooney missed all of training camp with a shoulder injury.
DETROIT -- Cleveland Browns starting wide receiver Cedric Tillman has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Lions because of a hamstring injury. During the second quarter, Tillman entered the medical tent for several minutes. He tested his hamstring along the sideline and reentered the game for a few snaps before leaving again.
It marks a third time Yates has been on the injured list this season and seemingly puts his availability for the playoffs in jeopardy. At minimum, he is guaranteed to miss when the Dodgers likely start the postseason in the Wild Card Series. Yates previously missed time from the middle of May into the first week of June because of a right hamstring strain.
WROCLAW, Poland -- Ousmane Dembélé limped off the field injured while playing for France in World Cup qualifying on Friday, just 12 days before Paris Saint-Germain begin the defence of their Champions League title. Dembélé went on as a substitute for the second half of France's 2-0 win against Ukraine and lasted less than 35 minutes. He left with what seemed to be a right hamstring injury, walking to the bench with his right hand pressed to the back of his right thigh.
A single hamstring injury in the 14th minute of a Premier League game and poof, there goes the £69.2million package you agreed with Bayern Munich for Nicolas Jackson. There goes the private flight that was paid for. It was a waste, another one is required for the return. There go all those hours that went into negotiating a £12.9m loan fee with a £56.3m option, not forgetting the sell-on clause that Chelsea would have retained.
