""Jude is pushing, and as we know him, he is determined and super professional. He will try everything to be with us in March. ""The club [Real Madrid] is a bit more defensive on the outlook regarding the weeks of his recovery," Tuchel said."
""Personally, I am optimistic [about Bellingham's fitness]," Tuchel added. "But I am not sure.""
Jude Bellingham suffered a hamstring injury while playing for Real Madrid and was substituted 10 minutes into the Feb. 1 match against Rayo Vallecano, leaving the field in tears. Initial reports expected a month out, but Real Madrid now offer a more cautious recovery outlook. Thomas Tuchel said Bellingham is determined and pushing to be available for England's March friendlies against Uruguay and Japan, calling the situation a race against time. Tuchel expressed optimism but admitted uncertainty. Bellingham previously missed time recovering from shoulder surgery but has still contributed for club and country this season.
