He was 73. Dunbar's wife, Thelma, announced the death to the Jamaica Gleaner. Dunbar and bassist Robbie Shakespeare Sly & Robbie, also known as The Riddim Twins played on reggae classics by Black Uhuru, Jimmy Cliff and Peter Tosh and would garner attention far from Jamaica, from the likes of Grace Jones and the Rolling Stones.

Sabrina Carpenter is set perform at the 2026 Grammys, the Recording Academy has announced, 12 months after she stole the 2025 show with a Goldie Hawn-inspired production of her singles "Espresso" and "Please Please Please." The pop star is also up for six awards at this year's ceremony: Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for Man's Best Friend; and Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Music Video for "Manchild."
