Diablo 4 is about to deliver on Blizzard's years-old promise to add a challenging, leaderboard-driven experience to the action RPG. The beta for The Tower, and its associated Leaderboards are about to kick off. As recently revealed, the new experience launches today at 11am PT, 2pm ET, 7pm GMT. This is a beta version that arrives alongside update 2.5.2. This early launch won't offer the full experience, and it's mainly designed to get it into the hands of players early
It's not an easy life for Sanctuary's citizens in Diablo 4, but players can make things a little brighter in the upcoming holiday event Goblin Greedings. Starting on December 18, players will be to put presents under their tree--so to speak--by clobbering creatures for loot and bringing a little hope back to Estuar. To claim their prizes, players will have to face hordes of Treasure Goblins and earn their place on the March of the Goblins reputation board.
The Game Awards are coming up soon, and now host and organizer Geoff Keighley is hyping the event with some kind of real-world teaser campaign for something people believe is connected to Diablo. On November 28, Keighley posted the tex "regal.inspiring.thickness" along with an image of some kind of huge carving featuring humanoid people in the middle of a desert. On November 29, Keighley followed up with a Google Maps image showing the location of the marketing monolith in the California desert.
Diablo 4 Season 10 will introduce a major change for Necromancers that will make dying far less punishing, allowing them to immediately jump back into the fray at full effectiveness. Blizzard is finally making it so Necromancer players who die to the demonic hordes will no longer need to manually resummon each of their minions. Instead, minions will automatically be resummoned when a player resurrects.
