Blizzard is collaborating with Kentaro Miura's iconic manga Berserk for its first crossover with a non-Blizzard IP. This event, running in both Diablo 4 and Diablo Immortal, offers new gameplay elements, including challenges for rewards like free cosmetics. However, many desirable items are only available through in-game purchases. Players can engage in elite hunts for Behelits in Diablo 4 and face a famous boss in Diablo Immortal, highlighting the crossover's depth beyond mere themed skins.
Unlike some crossovers that are solely an opportunity to buy themed skins, the Diablo and Berserk crossovers do actually add new events for players to participate in.
Diablo 4's Berserk crossover event will begin May 6 and run through the end of Season 8, approximately three months later.
Blizzard's free-to-play mobile game Diablo Immortal is also getting in on the Berserk action, and in many ways has more to do than Diablo 4.
It will add a boss fight against the fearsome Nosferatu Zodd, and even let players participate in Berserk's most infamous moment: the Eclipse.
