You can see that the widened fenders are now integrated and flow into the body much more naturally than on previous prototypes. The front fenders stick out considerably more than on the non-M i3. The same goes for the rear, where it looks like BMW has yet again not bothered to give the M car bespoke doors to match the more muscular rear haunches.
The only thing worse than 'Floor is Lava' is probably 'Floor is LEGO Brick'. LEGO bricks are famously torturous to step on. The studs, the sharp corners, the unforgiving plastic, all of these combine into creating something that feels like modern day torture. Step on a lego brick with enough body-weight and that thing practically digs into your tissue, causing probably one of the most painful experiences according to the internet. However, what if there was a 'right' way of stepping on LEGO bricks?
Polestar has long had an identity crisis. After being spun out of Volvo's performance division back in 2017 to become a separate brand, the two still feel like siblings who share the same closet. They're both premium Sino-Swedish brands that pick from the same parts bin for their models, collaborate closely on engineering and are under the same Geely Group parent company.
There is a dual-tone finish, with the majority of the back covered in an off-white colour and a smaller translucent quarter at the bottom corner. This gives the rear panel a layered appearance and some depth, making it look unique. The soft and smooth finish of the rear panel is also good at masking smudges and fingerprints, which is essential for a gaming device that's going to be gripped with sweaty gamer hands.
The Motorola Edge 70 is impossibly thin at just 5.9mm, making it the slimmest in its class and lighter than most competitors at only 159 grams. The matte finish, rounded corners, and Pantone-certified color options like Lily Pad and Bronze Green give it a premium vibe that stands out in a sea of black rectangles flooding the market. The aerospace-grade aluminum frame adds durability without compromising the slim profile.
With the price and quality of laptops these days, it can be difficult to recommend prebuilt desktop PCs-especially when they aren't focused on gaming. The Dell Tower Plus straddles the line, offering strong performance in a more modern, office-friendly aesthetic. It's ideal as a mixed-use computer that can act as a work-from-home PC by day and a secret gaming rig by night.
At this month's event, you can expect talks from Mouthwash Studio, an LA based design agency influencing culture at-large from within, as well as talks from Clay Hickson, the small press legend behind publishing house Tan & Loose Books as well as the monthly Risograph printed newspaper The Smudge. You'll also get to hear from James Junk, the popular designer and content creator who, when he isn't actively being "the only graphic designer in Los Angeles", is creating intelligent and thought provoking visual essays.
I mean, it's incredibly tricky to know what to do. And I don't even know how you're going to answer this question. I don't know either, actually. So let's see. Silicon Valley's gotten more political. And when I came to Silicon Valley, maybe it was more left, but it kind of felt more moderate. And it didn't feel as much like it was as political.
The WN7 arrived in Europe with minimal fanfare, no grand reveal event, just a quiet launch that belies how significant this bike actually is. Honda's first real attempt to challenge the likes of Zero, Energica, and LiveWire has been paying attention to what works and what doesn't. The WN7 doesn't try to be revolutionary; instead, it aims for something arguably harder: making electric motorcycles feel normal, desirable, and ready for everyday riders.

iQOO's Neo 10R offers excellent value for money, but it sure wasn't the best at everything (especially its cameras). With the iQOO Neo 10, the brand raises the bar. At a slightly higher asking price, the iQOO Neo 10 attempts to deliver even better value compared to its R-branded sibling. While doing so, iQOO also ends up challenging the norm of this segment,
Jacek Utko is a former architect who got a job as a newspaper art director. He really thought newspapers were boring and bland, and that was easily reflected in the low circulation - nobody was reading them! source: Pew Research Center He was really frustrated. His parents and friends thought he was crazy wasting his time working at a newspaper. And the general public thought newspapers would soon become extinct because most people were reading news online.
As a childless woman in my early 30s, I rarely seek out family-friendly beach resorts. But when I was invited to the new Oku Andalusia, I immediately said yes. I'd heard rave reviews about the brand's design-forward outposts in Ibiza, Spain; Bodrum, Turkey; and the Greek island of Kos, all ritzy seaside idylls synonymous with grown-up fun and swanky seaside environs. So even though the new hotel in Andalusia marks Oku's first family-friendly concept, I felt confident I'd find the same chilled-out coastal atmosphere.
From the start, Nothing was designed to be an antidote to Apple and its omnipresent AirPods. While Apple focused on a sort of all-purpose minimalism, Nothing adopted a hallmark transparent look that, if not altogether disparate (both pairs of wireless earbuds have a similar stem design), at least gave its Ear products a unique design language. That quest for being different extended into features, too. In 2023, Nothing introduced personalized EQ, giving it a visual and technological difference over Apple's AirPods
The sound is good, the noise-cancelling is great, and the look is amazing. Isn't that enough? With headphones, I kind of want to replicate a live show. I'm sitting at my desk, cleaning the kitchen, or standing on the train, and I want that shit to rock. On the standard EQ, I found the Dyson OnTrac lacking, but once I switched to boost the bass, I couldn't be happier.
At first glance, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max seem like a drastic upgrade over their predecessors. They have a fantastic new look-one that adds more character with a two-tone design highlighting the blend of the aluminum chassis and glass. The " Camera Plateau," as Apple calls it, elongates the camera module and gives it a more balanced appearance and feel. (Although I have to say, Google did it first.)
This year marks the 15th anniversary of 99% Invisible! If our little design podcast were a person, it would be old enough to have a provisional driver's license in some states or celebrate a quinceañera. Since we first launched on September 3rd, 2010, we've spent 15 years telling stories about design, architecture, and the choices we make that shape our world. That's 15 years of taking the time to stop and read the plaque, and 15 years of you, our incredible listeners, sending us the most amazing observations about the built environment that we never would have noticed on our own.
Yet this loss doesn't mean design is gone. If anything, it requires us to find meaning in the turmoil and ask what design truly is, and what it still has the potential to become. Here's the difference - AI can generate outputs. It can mimic styles, assemble patterns, and even simulate decisions. But it can't create meaning. Meaning is rooted in memory, context, and emotion.
