Jordan Pearson grew up in the bus industry, and worked for her parents' company, Master Tours, in Greensboro, NC. Joining her sister Dwyla, she branched off to form a separate company, Transcendent Charter, also in Greensboro. She and her sister were active in UMA, attending UMA EXPO and participating in UMA committees, before closing their company.

I always wanted to have an impact on the world, which sounds pretty dreamy, but that's why I decided to study international relations and global communications in college. I knew I wanted to understand how the world works and the systems that shaped people's lives. I also wanted a global challenge, which drew me into climate change.

My family is very politically active in the Central Valley. Growing up, I saw how some communities get the short end of the stick in resources.
