My background is in technology, community management, and systems design. Over the years, I have grown into roles that combine engineering, leadership, and ecosystem building."

Theresa Seyram Agbenyegah, a backend engineer and social entrepreneur, has made significant contributions to the Django and Python communities through leadership roles including LOC Programmes Lead at PyCon Africa 2024 and Programs Chair for PyCon Ghana 2025. She discovered Django through a Django Girls workshop and was impressed by its opinionated yet flexible architecture and powerful admin interface. With experience in Flask, FastAPI, and Dart frameworks, Theresa advocates for open source and uses technology for social impact. She actively organizes DjangoGirls events and serves in the DSF Events Support Working Group, combining engineering expertise with community ecosystem building.
