A teacher at Shepherd Hill Regional High School in Dudley is facing child endangerment charges after he was arrested Friday, according to Taunton police. Thomas Wilson, 37, of Southbridge, was charged with reckless sexual endangerment of a child, enticement of a child under the age of 16, and possession of child pornography, Taunton police said in a statement. The charges came following an investigation of an alleged Sept. 18 incident.
OAKLAND - Within the past seven months, a local resident has been convicted of possessing child pornography, charged with having it again, convinced a judge to throw out the new charges, then been arrested and charged once again, court records show. The tumultuous year for 47-year-old Jeffrey Murdock started back in February, when he pleaded no contest to child pornography possession and was sentenced to probation. Since then, Alameda County investigators say they caught him having it on his electronic devices two separate times.
BRENTWOOD A Brentwood man has been sentenced to 8 1/2 years in federal prison for receiving child pornography and possessing an unregistered short-barreled rifle, authorities said. U.S. District Judge Haywood S. Gilliam Jr., handed 44-year-old Michael Patterson 103 months behind bars, after Patterson pleaded guilty to the crimes in May, according to a statement from U.S. Attorney Craig Missakian of the Northern District of California.
